Audience Miner

Privacy policy

What we collect

When you sign in we receive your email address and display name from our identity provider (signin.ounie.com). When you run a scan we record the target account, the scan depth you chose, the job’s progress counters (followers scanned, profiles looked up, requests billed) and its start and finish times. The creator rows a scan returns are stored in our database so you can filter and re-export them later. If you write to us through the contact form, we keep the message.

What we don’t collect

We don’t track you across the web. There are no third-party analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no session replay. We don’t sell, share, or resell the data you discover. Every dataset belongs to the account that paid for it.

Where data lives

Application data — accounts, jobs, the creator rows your scans return, and credit-ledger entries — is stored in a single Neon Postgres database hosted in the US, encrypted at rest. CSV and JSON exports are generated on demand and streamed to you; we don’t keep separate copies of export files.

Payments

Audience Miner itself never touches a payment instrument. Credits are purchased and managed on ounie.com, where Stripe processes card payments; we see your credit balance and the entries our scans write to it, never a card number. Stripe’s privacy policy lives at stripe.com/privacy.

The discovered data

The creator profiles we surface are publicly visible on Instagram, read through a specialist data API acting on our instructions. We don’t bypass authentication, and private accounts are never looked up individually — a private row in a follower list stays a username and nothing more. Your use of the delivered data must still comply with applicable laws — CAN-SPAM for email outreach, GDPR/CCPA for any data subjects in those jurisdictions. We provide the tool; you remain the data controller.

Deletion

To delete your account or download your data, open a privacy ticket. We respond within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30.
